As a clinical psychologist working across private practice, digital mental health industry, regulation, and academia, Dr Robinson has deep expertise in multiple domains including:

  • centering in & delivery of compassionate and human-centered psychotherapy and emotional support;

  • directing programs of research; designing and leading multiple decentralized randomized controlled trials through all phases of implementation and outcomes publications;

  • diversity, equity, inclusion, & belonging;

  • teaching; mentorship; management;

  • leveraging technologies to augment all elements of high quality mental health care access and delivery;

  • safety governance for software as a medical device; and

  • regulatory submissions and correspondence

Dr Robinson has operated at the intersection of mental health care, technology, and regulation of software as a medical device for several years. In this capacity, she has directed programs of research including many hybrid and/or decentralized randomized controlled trials as a manufacturer, sponsor, and or sponsor investigator. She regularly publishes in the scientific literature and engages in various public speaking opportunities regarding digital mental healthcare. She has contributed in many ways to the development of technology leveraged emotional support tools, with the first online intervention she contributed to being in 2003.

As Chief Clinical Officer of a Digital Mental Health Company, Dr Robinson has occupied many roles including:
